Mediterranean Crusted Steaks
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs
1/3 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 TBS dried oregano or 2 TBS Fresh chopped oregano
2 TBS Fresh chopped parsley
1 TBS Finely grated lemon rind
2 TBS Fresh lemon juice
2 TBS Olive oil
1/2 TSP Salt
1 TSP Ground Pepper
(4) 6 or 8 oz.

strip steaks
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together in a medium bowl with a fork. Add lemon juice and oil and continue to mix until combined, Add salt & pepper and combine. Mixture will be moist but crumbly.
Pat steaks dry and grill on medium high heat for 4-5 minutes. Turn and top cooked side of steaks with bread crumb mixture. Cover grill and continue to cook another 4-5 minutes until steaks are medium rare or the degree doneness desired.
Mixture will form a crust on top of steaks. Let stand several minutes before serving.
